I'd like to give you all this gift. I recommend either completing the maze with a brightly coloured brush in some digital program or printing out the 300dpi version and filling it in with a thick, coloured pen, crayon, brush or pencil. Something that shows up. I won't bother repeating what it says. ;-) Current Mood: calm |

This is me, slapping drums and shouting. I found out just now that 'Alan Wills' recorded the tail-end of my performance at an open-mic night. After playing a tune on keyboard, I moved over to the drum-set, only to be told that the mics had been switched off for the drums. I played this anyway - I just had to slap them a bit harder. I got nearly all the crowd singing and clapping along - my favourite game to play. (Your score is the % of folk that sing along.) |

My first half-decent morph.
I had a tiny, tiny part in a Newgrounds collaboration, morphing my dinosaur into a hat. If you like that, go watch the full thing - it has over 70 parts, all morphing to the beat (thanks to my Audacity tempo changing). |

A meme involving being asked questions.
Posted because Jessica is telling folk to do so. I'll copy-paste so as to preserve the original spirit: The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious but you have no idea about. Ask away.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you! |

Electric Earth Collab THE GENERAL IDEA ======= Everyone knows the dangers of plugging a hundred things into a single socket. It's ludicrously dangerous and works as a metaphor for the way we're over-taxing the planet. In this exhibition. 'Earth with wires plugged in' will be the central image whilst a system of wires and 4-way adaptors would let other picture 'plug into' the overstretched earth. AIMS ====== To be fun and interesting. To capture people's attention for an extended period of time. To underline the reckless abandon with which we abuse the planet. COLLABORATION ====== I hope to attain the collaboration of a multitude of artists all over the globe. Each will offer their own perspective of what is a problem affecting our planet, from an environmental perspective. Panels will be 25x25cm, meeting the wire-placement specifications exactly so different pictures can seemingly contain the same wire. As the exhibition continues, the audience will also be given the opportunity to integrate their own images into the exhibition, submitting images, which will be added to and perhaps replace previously existing pieces. As the audience involves themselves, they will begin to pay more thought to the issues. ETC ====== An EARLY example of what it may look like is above. With an improved central image and tens of quality images, it'll look more impressive yet. If you'd like to get involved, please submit pictures as either 300dpi digital images or ask me for an address if you want to send traditional art. I'd love to see work in progress or hear feedback though! There is also a template with rules here. As long as your submission is in-theme, including a multi-socket adaptor and something you feel is draining the planet, the only rules to really pay attention to are the measurements (5mm thick wires at specific places). ==================================== ==================================== ==================================== This is something I tried to start some time ago, but personal situations mean I feel I now have the ability and the commitment to get it done at a decent pace. Let me know what you think! (Both about the idea and the 'spiel'.) Stay funky, - Bez |

Another maze Here's another maze - this one dedicated to tiny monster. Again, I highly recommend you print it out, then fill it in with either a thick black pen or brightly coloured pencil. Or, if you don't have a printer or want to save paper/ink, draw in it on your painting software package of choice. Hopefully, any confusion about the dedication will be gone when you finish. 300dpi printer-ready version here. |

You have probably never seen a better maze. I highly recommend you print it out, then fill it in with either a pen or brightly coloured pencil. Or, if you don't have a printer or want to save paper/ink, I suppose you could draw in it on your painting software package of choice. Once you finish, you may be pleasantly surprised. Or you would be if I hadn't foreshadowed the 'ending'. 300dpi printer-ready version here. |

Relating to Global Warming
This guy makes the point that inaction would have more dire consequences than inaction, if we consider both possibilities to be viable. 9min |

I just suddenly realised that I should've probably done more promotion. 200-hour comic starts on Sunday. Please send a suggestion for plot or title to: 200@aciddica.com No more than 4 words long! Sorry for brevity and shittiness of pic. I will take >5 mins and make a better post after getting back from college. My disorganisation rears its ugly head again... I promise the actual comic will be great though! |

I can't make polls on LJ.
Regardless, I'd like to know which of these numbers you guys prefer: A - 200 B - 216 C - something in between. (please specify) I mean, 200 is a round number, but 216 has other things going for it... Current Mood: frustrated |

This is not a hypothetical situation
I have met a motorcycle thief. A self-proclaimed 'bike outlaw', he got his first bike at 10, never got a license, never obeyed the speed limits, had a few crashes, had a shop selling stolen goods. An engineer's apprentice, he went to the middle-east, where he was quickly made the head-engineer of an airport. A few rich folk had fatal crashes in that area, purely from not knowing how to handle the supercar they'd just been bought. Now studying art, he's terminally ill with bleeding lungs. Interview. Any questions you'd like asked? |
